Mr. Stout was elected as Third Ward Commissioner in 2008. He currently serves as Liaison to the Cambridge Emergency Medical Services, the Historical Preservation Commission as well as the Cambridge Main Street Committee. Mr. Stout works as an Assistant Principal in the Dorchester County Public School System at Hurlock Elementary School. He earned his B.S. in Biology at John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio and completed a Master’s degree in School Administration at Wilmington University. Commissioner Stout has been married to his wife for seven years.
Mr. Stout’s family has long been involved in local government. Two of his uncles served as city councilmen in central Ohio, and Commissioner Stout’s father-in-law was a three term Cambridge city commissioner. These influences shaped Mr. Stout’s desire to serve in public office and he is extremely proud and honored to serve his community as a city commissioner.
