Nathan’s Ave Well Permit Progress

MDE will issue our permit, but they are requiring us to do the following:

Install air relief valve. Ed our operator will talk to George Hyde because our water is aerated as it goes into the tank.

Install a raw water sample tap, which we already have and install a blow off which we can do ourselves.

Well Pump #1 Stone Boundary

Mr. Johnson informed the commission that the Well Pump is back in service and operating very well.

Service Pump #2 Nathans Ave.

Service Pump has been completed but not in service at this time.

Fence Installation

Mrs. Dorman informed the Commission that the new fence has been installed and how pleased the employees are with it.

Service Pump #1 Stone Boundary

During the cold weather the pump line froze causing problems with the pump. Repairs to the pump will be done in house and should cost under $2000.00. Measures are being taken to prevent this from happening in the future.

Irrigation Well

Mr. Baker is requesting a letter from MUC permitting him to drill a new irrigation well. After a lengthy discussion the Commission elected not to issue any letter of approval.

Mrs. Dorman said she would check with the Health Dept. and the State to find out their policies. Mr. Pasden said he remembered a study of the Algonquin Area and asked her to inquire on this matter.

Superintendent’s Report

Mr. Johnson discussed street openings and repairs. He reported on the Pumpage and Billing for the Month of December.

Mr. Pasden asked about Greenwood Ave. being on the leak list two times. Mr. Johnson explained that one was a leak and the other was a leaking valve.

Other
