HPC Agenda

The City of Cambridge Historic Preservation Commission will conduct a meeting on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at City Council Chambers, 305 Gay Street. The following items are on the agenda for this meeting:

Approval of Minutes:
June 18, 2015

Regular Agenda Items;

Old Business:

HPC #51 FY 14-15, 205 West End Ave.:, Mr. Graham, requests approval to replace one (1) existing, white, wood, double hung, window with one (1) white, vinyl Simonton #6100, double hung, window on the right rear elevation.

New Business:

HPC #1 FY 15-16, 209 High St.: Ms. Gore requests approval to replace existing, deteriorated, wood decking with slate gray, AZEK, composite decking.

HPC #2 FY 15-16, 102 Choptank Ave.: Mr. Diaz, represented by Mr. Atkinson, Contractor, requests approval to replace existing decking replace bead board around interior of covered porch with Azek composite decking.

HPC #3 FY 15-16, 301 Gay St.: The West End Citizens Association, represented by Ms. Devlin, requests approval, pending review by the Maryland Historical Trust, to complete an exterior restoration including new roof, chimney repair, repair exterior masonry and restore original exterior wall design, repair wood double hung windows, new storm windows, repair front door, build new back door, build new front and rear porches, install new coach lights, possible install shutters, build pathway, install fence for screening around mechanical equipment.

HPC #4 FY 15-16, 106 Vue de Leau: Mr. Krusheski is seeking approval to remove all layers of roof, including the original cedar shakes, and the three tab shingles, and replace them with architectural shingles.

Informal Review:

400 Race St: Mr. Doug Kyle will present the roof and seam samples that were part of the conditional approval he received at the March 12, 2015 meeting.
