HPC Agenda

The City of Cambridge Historic Preservation Commission will conduct a meeting on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at City Council Chambers, 305 Gay Street.  The following items are on the agenda for this meeting:

Regular Agenda Items;

Consent Agenda:

HPC # 3 FY 15-16, 301 Gay Street: At the last meeting, the approval to construct a pathway with a sitting area to connect to the library walkway and to install a fence around the necessary mechanical equipment was left out of the motion.

Old Business:

HPC #50 FY 14-15 104 Willis St.: Mr. Puglisi and Ms. Morgan request approval to install ten (10) 40” x 66” x 1.25” solar panels with black faces and black frames onto the rear, second story roof of the residence, facing the rear, side yard.

New Business:

HPC #2015-005, 1008 Glasgow St.: Ms. Debra Toni seeks approval to replace 19 windows in her house with six over one, vinyl windows and two windows with eight over one, vinyl windows and two replace 3 windows in her garage.

HPC #2015-006, 111 Vue de Leau St.: Mr. and Mrs. Levy seek approval to construct a two level deck on the rear of the home. The first level would be 16’ x16’ and the second level would be 16’ x12’ and would have proper railing.

HPC #2015-007, 604 William St.: Mr. and Mrs. Oliver seek approval to replace their wood porch decking with tongue-in-groove Azek decking, replace the concrete and brick stairs with all brick, and replace their vinyl porch railings and fasteners with Azek.

Informal Review

114 Choptank Ave.: Ms. Cynthia Love will ask for guidance regarding a single-car garage in her back yard.

Administratively Approved/Routine Maintenance:

AA #002-2015, 723 Travers St.: Mr. John Ross was approved to replace three (replacement) entry doors in-kind.

AA #003-2015, 1001 High St.: Mr. and Mrs. Manicke were approved to remove a dying tree from the front yard.

AA#004-2015, 127 Vue de Leau St.: Mr. and Mrs. Hine were approved for a six month extension to their 2014 CoA.
