The City of Cambridge Historic Preservation Commission will conduct a meeting on Thursday, August 16th, at 7:00 p.m. at City Council Chambers, 305 Gay Street. The following items are on the agenda for this meeting:

Consent Agenda:

HPC# 06-13, 805 Locust St, Anastasia Spear (owner), installation of wood fence (after the fact installation) in rear yard area.

HPC# 09-13, 104 Glenburn Ave., Benjamin and Grace Reed (owner)-B.A.S. Construction (contractor); replace 3 tab shingles on main part of house with low profile dimensional shingles with ridge vent.

Regular Agenda Items

HPC# 07-13, 1109 Locust St., Aubrey Dean and Bonnie Wagner, (owners) installation of new door and window(s) in rear of house, siding to match; replace existing front doors with installation of prefabricated front door with upper and side transoms.

HPC# 08-13, 604 William St., David and Nancy Oliver, (owners); East Bay Construction Services, LLC-(contractor); (1) replace one story rear addition with two story addition on same footprint-siding, roof line, pitch, siding and roofing materials to match existing-new windows and door to be installed; (2) remove existing 9' x 16'yard shed in rear with 8' x 12' garden shed.  Re-shingle side and rear roof addition with matching shingles.

HPC-Adm_03-13, 411 Muse St., Muse Street LLC, replace center sign panel on existing sign at law office.  Approved, July 17th, 2012.

HPC-Adm_04-13, 803 Locust St., minor roofing repairs on wrap around porch using matching shingles.  Approved. August 1sts, 2012.

HPC-Adm_05-13, 805 Locust St., installation of historic bricks on front sidewalks-work is consistent with guidelines.  Approved, Aug. 2nd, 2012.

HPC-Adm_06-13, 600 Locust St., installation of ridge cap shingles as replacement and minor repairs to main roof body.  Approved, July 17th, 2012.

HPC-Adm_07-13, 116 High Street; repoint-repairs to chimneys; temporary removal of shutters until repaired or replaced; Approved August 8th, 2012.

HPC-Adm_08-13, 1000 Locust St.; wrap sills and related window parts with vinyl/aluminum siding.  Under consideration.
