Nathan's Ave Well

Mr. Johnson discussed the turbidity levels at the new well.  The lower the flow, the better the turbidity.  In an email from Mr. Wright, it was recommended that we install a flow meter to regulate the flow and also measure the wasted water, which he felt MDE would want us to account for in the ground water withdrawal.

Mr. Johnson will get our maintenance staff to look into installing the meter.  We should have at the shop.

Mrs. Dorman said after we are satisfied with the levels and have detailed report for MDE, Ms. Goodson (MDE) would like to come and inspect and evaluate the well prior to giving us the certification for a potable well.  The bacteriological reports came back negative.

Computer Software Update

Ms. Dorman discussed the new computer software, informing the Commission that some of the reports are not as accurate as should be and she is working with Edmunds to correct this problem.

Budget Preparation

Mrs. Dorman advised the commission that this was just a preliminary budget and she asked the Commission for any ideals or changes they may have.

Superintendent's Report

Mr. Johnson discussed street openings and or repairs.  He reported on the Pumpage and Billing for the Month of March.

With no further business to discuss, MUC employees were dismissed at approximately 7:00 p.m.
