Nathan's Ave Well

Mr. Johnson reported on the turbidity readings of the well when it is constantly running.

He informed the commission the levels are acceptable but it has to run a while prior to blending.

Mr. Brooks asked if he could get a good reading and what time frame it takes to get to that point.  He would like to see this.  Mr. Johnson said he would do this.  Mr. Johnson said he spoke to Mr. Frank Wright about the constant run and getting the turbidity level down.  Mrs. Dorman said she spoke to Ms. Goodman of MDE and questioned why the acceptable level is so low for Cambridge.  Ms. Goodman stated she based her information on what we sent to her during the constant run.  She would like to know the length of time it takes to get to the different levels of turbidity and come down to evaluate the well.

Mrs. Dorman told her we would get that information to her.  The lab tests came back negative for E coli.  Once we establish the turbidity time level, we should be good to go.

Computer Software Update

Ms. Dorman discussed the new computer software, informing the commission that we added the billing module at this time and even though we are having issues we continue to move forward.

Mrs. Dorman informed the Commission that detailed reports on various operations would be available in the very near future.

Superintendent's Report

Mr. Johnson discussed street openings and /or repairs.  He reported on the Pumpage and Billing for the Month of February.  Mrs. Dorman explained the readings on the unaccountable water.  Mr. Johnson reported no new service for the month of February.

Other

Mrs. Dorman informed the Commission that we are currently advertising for a water operator's position.  However, one of our current operators has decided to move to street maintenance. Mrs. Dorman explained to him that he would have to continue as operator until his position is filled.

Closed Executive Session

A motion by Mr. Pasden to go into closed executive session to discuss personnel was seconded by Mrs. Alschbach.

Approved.

With no further business to discuss, MUC employees were dismissed at approximately 7:00 p.m.
