Nathan's Ave Well

Mrs. Dorman discussed the response letter she had received from Unitech. They had suggested running the well as follows: (two hours on, one hour off).  After further discussion with Mr. Wright, Mrs. Dorman decided to let the well run constantly.  She explained to the Commission that this is what the State would require.  It has been running and the turbidity was charted and sent to MDE for approval.  Based on these levels the well can be utilized. Mrs. Dorman contacted MDE, with the constant runs and invited them down to inspect the well.  She will supply them with the Nitrate and Bacteria test results. They are scheduled for the test on  July 8th.

Mr. Williams expressed his concern about the wiring of the well and Mrs. Dorman assured him that after further discussion with Mr. Wright all is good and should not make any changes at this time.

Equipment Update

Mr. Johnson informed the Commission that he had received both locators and that he is very pleased with them.  He also said that they will be training (two) of our operator's on them which will be provided by Ditch Witch at no additional charge.

Mr. Johnson discussed street openings and or repairs, including Shawnee Circle and Glenburn Ave.  He reported on the Pumpage and Billing for the Month of May.

Mrs. Dorman explained some of her concerns about the positions of currently employed personnel.  A few employees are eligible for promotions due to upcoming certifications. The Commission decided to address this at the next meeting after Mrs. Dorman reviews options with Human Recourses Director (Oden Wheeler).
