This workgroup will have five (5) members representing diverse aspects of our Community and City Staff and will be appointed by City Council.
Purpose & Duties:
Required as part of sustainable communities designation by the State of Maryland, this Ad hoc workgroup will discuss the accomplishments and challenges of our Sustainable Community Action Plan and any update we may want to make to the Action Plan. The workgroup will continue to make and reinforce working relationships and collaborations among local governmental departments and better align community development priorities and strategies.
A revised action plan needs to be completed by late October 2023 to be included in our application for redesignation due in late November.
