Created in 2025, the Mayor’s Accessibility Committee is responsible for providing recommendations to the Mayor and Commissioners regarding improving accessibility of the communications platforms (website, social media, etc.) and City facilities for individuals with disabilities and/or limited English proficiency.
The seven-member committee consists of the Mayor and six (6) members who all shall be residents of the City of Cambridge. The committee members will serve three (3) year terms with the initial members being staggered between 2 and 3 years to allow continuity of knowledge on the committee.
Once established, the committee members will determine the meeting date and frequency.
